As an Executive MBA student, the just concluded online examination at Lagos Business School was an important milestone in my academic journey. The examination covered four courses, including Corporate Financial Accounting (CFA), Management Communication (MC), Analysis of Business Problems (ABP), and Data Analytics (DA), and required me to balance my studies with my work and family commitments. It was a challenging experience, but one that was ultimately rewarding.
Preparing for the examination was a stressful process, as I had to balance my studies with the demands of my job and my other responsibilities. I had to be disciplined with my time management and develop effective study strategies to make the most of my limited study time. Despite the stress, I remained focused on my goal and maintained a positive attitude throughout the process.
The online examination was held over two days, and each day presented a unique set of challenges. The first day’s examination covered CFA and MC, which required me to demonstrate my knowledge of finance and communication. The second day’s examination covered ABP and DA, which tested my understanding of strategy and data analysis. Both days were intense, and I had to remain focused and disciplined to complete each exam within the allotted time.
One of the biggest challenges I encountered during the online examination was network issues that arose. The network cut off a few times or my system would freeze, causing panic. However, I was fortunate to have a backup internet service and another laptop to fall back on, which helped to alleviate some of the stress.
Now that the examination is complete, I feel a sense of relief and accomplishment. I am proud of the hard work I put into preparing for the examination and confident in my abilities. Additionally, I am proud of my group members for their support and encouragement. Nevertheless, I understand that there is always room for improvement, and I plan to evaluate my performance and identify areas for improvement in the future.
In conclusion, the recently concluded online examination at Lagos Business School was a challenging yet ultimately rewarding experience. As an Executive MBA student, I had to balance my studies with work and other commitments, which demanded discipline and focus. Despite the stress and technical challenges, I am satisfied with my performance and enthusiastic about continuing my academic journey. I believe that the knowledge and skills acquired from this first-semester examination will help me attain success in both my personal and professional life.
