STRATEGY.

Strategy can be defined as a plan or an act used to manage or control situations whether short term or long term. It can also be said to be a tactic means used to achieve goals.

This is a cleaver scope or method used in all aspects to serve important functions in other to achieve certain evolutionarysuccess whether in business, family sports and politics with conditions of uncertainty.

For every strategy you put in place as an individual or a business you should always consider the following directives to help you achieve success.

i. Vision;  you have to dream it, visualize it, this is the first start and helps you set a time frame.

ii. Mission: you have to make sure that you put all the tools required for your vision in place, strategize on how yourmission and always have a plan b when plan A fails.

iii. Values ; the values that you put in place always helps you to excel, the fundamental beliefs and morals helps the organization to last and grow.

Strategy also refers to the basic directional decisions which acts on the purpose and the mission and consists on so many importance in our day to day activities and its observed in so many people in several ways ;

• Strategy of Position; this is used to make decisions in organizations especially by heads of departments. It deals with a lot of decision making and comes with some disadvantages.

• Strategy of plan; this deals with the ability to set plans in motion that can enable you to progress from one point to another.

• Strategy of pattern; this is when you make your strategy to enable you look superior than the other Person or organization. This can be fit in , in design, price or limited productions.

• Strategy of Perspective; this deals with the aspect of vision and the plan an individual or an organization has for their business or their family.

When it comes to strategy, there are different types.

1) Business strategy

2) Operational strategy 

3) Transformational strategy.

Business Strategy: Before starting up any business, the entrepreneur must always come up with a strategy and these strategies can affect different aspects of his income, because the main reason for his business is to generate income. He puts all theses strategies in place and gradually sees that all protocols are followed be it in production, sales, customer service and marketing.

Operational Strategy ; This strategy main focus is mainly on the process and the methods in which the organization functions with its employees , how the organization communicates internally and grow talents and skills .

Transformational/ Evolutionary Strategy; This type of strategy goes beyond business strategy and requires a radical and disruptive changes in the way business is run. This strategy focuses on the technological aspect and the way new inventions can transform and redesign your business ways. 

The main characteristic of strategy is as follows.

• Flexibility: in making strategic decisions things can come up and it requires a drastic change e.g. Environment, technology and these influences can be accommodated and a new strategy is put in place immediately.

• Value Addition; the effective and the efficient implementation of strategy leads to efficient usage in resources but some time the value of quality can change in other to improve a better market performance and customer satisfaction.

• Resource Allocation ; strategies ensure effective allocation and the utilization of resources, time, talent and budget. This strategy helps to enhance goals in an ever-changing business environment.

• Goal Oriented – this is used typically to help built the organizational goals and objectives and helps them set a target to accomplish desired goals.

In conclusion, Strategy has now become a major function in our everyday lives, whether used by an organization or by an individual, its main purpose its to ground us into setting a plan or choosing the most appropriate course of action for the realization of our goals and objectives and having aa time line on achievements.
