Written by Daisy Ojarikre · 1 min read >

Physically Attending my second intensive was an exciting experience, I was determined to make the most out of it as the last one was filled with interesting class activities that broadens my horizon. When I arrived, I was greeted by the school staff at the reception and my bag was scanned at the baggage scanning point, after which I was led to my lecture room which was names after coca cola.

The classrooms were spacious, well-furnished, and air-conditioned with all the necessary amenities needed. I quickly settled in and headed to the syndicate room to meet my group members for the first group meeting. on my way I met some of my classmates at the different syndicated rooms preparing for the next class. I was amazed by the number of the attendees as the last intensive week was more virtually attended. The people I met came from different backgrounds, Industries, and professions, but we all had one thing in common: we were here to learn.

During each course, the faculties of the school who took us through the different courses welcomed us in a pleasant manner and asked that we braze up as this intensive is going to change our lives forever. The faculty members were all experienced and well-informed in their respective fields. It was clear that we were going to learn from the best in the industry, and I couldn’t wait to get started.

One of the things that amasses me at Lagos Business School was the quality of teaching. The faculties had a way of making complicated concepts easy to understand. They used real-life examples, case studies, and group discussions to engage us on a deeper level. It was clear that the goal was not just to pass the course but to apply what we learned in the real world. By the end of the week, I had developed a better understanding of the course concepts, and I was confident that I could apply them in my work and personal life.

Another key takeaway was the interactive nature of the course. During the course, we had group projects and discussions, which allowed us to learn from each other. We all came from different professions, and each one of us brought a unique perspective to the table. It was interesting to see how different people approached various scenarios and how we could all learn from each other. The group projects also allowed us to apply what we learned in a real-life context and gave us an opportunity to work collaboratively.

The one-week intensive was an eye-opening experience that has had a lasting impact on my personal and professional life. It was an opportunity to learn from the best, network with like-minded professionals and apply the knowledge gained in a real-life context. I won’t forget the perfect blend of learning, networking, bonding and laughter with my classmates. I left the school feeling equipped with the knowledge received to take on new challenges in my personal and professional life.

Happiness: A Unique Inside Job!
