My MEMBA to remember at LBS so Far. #MEMBA12

I have been an industry expert for about 20years now and all through my carrier, learning and seeking knowledge has been one of my driving tool. i wanted to expand my knowledge in business management and i decided among all institutions, to choose the Lagos Business School. This decision for me, i would say is one of the best yet most tudious responsibilities i have embarked upon in the later part of my career. The pattern of teaching is one of the most interesting and engaging i have ever had.

My first intensive week was in september. Upon resumption, i was greeted with a course titled “Analysis of business problem”. I thought this was going to be as simple as analysing business problems but to my greatest dismay, this was a more intense and rigorous analysis which includes applying numbers. This for me was very interesting as i saw a different approach to analysing business problems. While still grasping for air from that, i was hit with a more sophisticated way of
dealing with Financial statements. I thought i knew it all before now but this programme has been an eye opener for me as i was able to understand and analyse the four plus one of accounting effortlessly and also the accounting formula of Asset = Liability + owners Equity. All this could not have been possible for me as a student without first understanding Data Analytics as a complete course on its own because most of the courses are tied to datas.

The lecturers are one of the best in the game. They can effortlessly take you on a ride and cruise you through each subject until you understand it like an elementary case. The ease of the program is in the structuring. The grouping of students is one of the most strategically thought out idea as the students are very supportive to one another. This has helped alot in understanding most of the cases.

Management Communication, my favourite of all. This course has taught me how to be a better communicator and the patience to read, write well and understand my audience. The lecturers understand how to pass the message appropriately until you master the teaching.

Lagos business school MEMBA class is one experience I would forever be grateful for.

Happiness: A Unique Inside Job!
