The popular saying that no man is an island has proven through so far in my journey at the Lagos Business School. No man is truly aelf-sufficient, encompassing and all knowing by himself, every man needs a community to build successful enterprises and execute peoject and/or ideas effectively.
Men start companies, ventures and several institutions alone but eventually bring on board teams of people to scale, expand and have more impact. The Place of effective team management in project execution spans across different fields. Most successful endeavou were ones with a dynamic team consisting of several individuals.
Particularly in Lagos Business School, the mode of learning include personal study, team/group studies and faculty lectures and discussions with empathy on the Team led mode of learning. This is because students in the several programmes have been trained and have their backgrounds in several fields. The aim of team work is to reduce the burden on the individual learning methods and further cause students to learn from each other.
As this is done, a mine of knowledge is usually transferred that causes students to become conversant with tackling and solving problems in other fields. Men, throughout history, have often taken the initiative to start their own companies, ventures, and institutions, driven by their vision, passion, and entrepreneurial spirit. However, the journey of these endeavors rarely stops with their sole efforts. To truly scale, expand, and have a lasting impact, it becomes imperative to bring on board a team of talented individuals who share the same goals and can collectively contribute to the success of the venture.
