A new phase begins when a little one is pushed out. It is an entirely new lifestyle to embrace. That minute, another stage of motherhood begins. Motherhood signifies a life changing journey that never ends. A job with no salary, the same way there is no transfer or leave. Interestingly, no retrenchment nor retirement as well.
It is crucial to state that it is a bitter-sweet stage that encompasses a lot of experiences. Regardless of what happens, mothers are found standing strong for their kids; with a subtle determination never to desert them. Sacrifices are made for the little one(s) and selflessness becomes the order of the day. Children are always put first in every situation. Does that tell you something?
Mothers are amazing creatures. They are not just gems in children’s lives. They play different roles which begins from being the first teacher, a listener, a motivator and a fighter as well. They help the child grow socially, emotionally and physically. All actions that they take are geared towards taking care of the children and watching out for them till their old age. It does not matter how old the children are, mothers do not stop looking out for them.
People refer to mothers as gold but it is not a bad idea if they are called mirrors as well. As much as it is expected of them to guide the steps of their children, they are sources of inspirations to them as well. Children watch what their mothers are up to and follow their footsteps. Mothers are similar to forces that shape children. They are not just present aesthetically, consistency in their role is germane. They are saddled with the responsibility of training children to be self-confident, independent, selfless, honest, thoughtful and kind as well. However a child turns out, you are free to hold the mother responsible. Well, do you have an idea of how sweet mothers can be?
No matter what, their love towards their children is always unconditional. They are always there to support mentally and emotionally. When children might feel like the worst creatures on earth because of what they might have done, you would always find their arms widely open, ready to embrace their precious gifts. If the whole world turns their back against an individual, you can be sure their mother is unbothered and ready to stand with them till the last minute.
Truly, the role of a mother is important and cannot be neglected. From the time a child is born, she has a special bond with the child, feels a kind of joy no one else feels and always stay connected to the child. Surprisingly, the feelings do not fade and the bond remains the same as she plays different roles throughout her child’s life. Mothers are superheroes deserving of all accolades they can get. More importantly, they deserve medals and a whole lot of flowers. Who else would have sat and watched our infant heads while sleeping on our cradle beds? Absolutely no one! Or who would have taken their place and gaze upon our heavy eyes? Beyond words, mothers are adorable, awesome, lovely, sweet, irreplaceable and indispensable.
