Do you sometimes wonder why mad people rarely fall ill?

One major question we should ask ourselves is: “How often do you see people with psychiatric issues who roam the streets without medical care suffering from chronic diabetes, Hypertension, delivery complications, malaria, arthritis, etc?”

Let’s look at some of the possible reasons and how you can adopt the secret to lowering your blood pressure and improving your health.

This method is referred to as grounding. A simple act of grounding yourself to the Earth by walking barefoot.

One of the secrets of good health in the stone age days was that there was no footwear. They walked barefooted.

There are three major advantages of the practice of walking bare feet. These Examples are:

1. A lot of our vital organs are Connected to the sole of our feet. When you walk on rough surfaces, it helps send an electrical wave to activate our organs to work better;

2. There is bioelectricity in the soil so, when we walk with our bare feet, we absorb a lot of it, which helps empower our immune system;

3. walking bare feet is also scientifically proven to decrease inflammation, lower stress, increase calmness, and help to relieve pain.

Grounding also has another major health benefit – It may help to lower blood pressure.

Therapeutically, Walking barefoot connects us to the calming security of the earth. Whether you think of this as a spiritual grounding or simply a physical pleasure, the soles of our feet can tread a pathway to the calmness of the entire body, when we make a connection with the Earth, when we ground through barefoot walking, there has been found to be a reduction in white blood cells and an increase in red blood cells, which hints to better immunity.

Barefoot walking has been shown to help increase antioxidants, reduce inflammation, and improve sleep.

Reduces blood pressure.

In naturopathy, it is recommended to walk for 10-15 minutes barefoot to normalize blood pressure.

Reduction in inflammation since the circulation of the blood around the body is better when you walk bare feet on the soil.

Walking barefoot on grass also helps to stimulate the functioning of your internal organs.

What does being barefoot symbolize from a religious angle? – In most religions, the exposure of bare feet to the soil [earth] is regarded as a sign of humility and subjection which makes their subjects and worshippers remain in tune with the higher/ supernatural that they stay connected to in reverence.

Now you wonder why people who lived before the so-called modernization/civilization lived longer than those who were born in the era of the so-called civilization, simple reasons as these were the major players in this process. Sometimes too I think that the hygiene level we practice and claim to be improved may just be the major source of our problem because the few people who have realized a few of these principles and decided to adopt some and for some all the ways of the early men have proven to have improved health and long lifespan.

Many people can relate to this piece to a large extent, some may not, but I will advise that if you want to live longer. Ditch your shoes occasionally, especially when working in the garden, along the beach/seaside, or around safe surroundings that will not expose your feet to the danger of getting poked by sharp/dangerous objects.

Not all problems are caused by the devil, as a matter of fact, the old man should be cut some slack on our carelessness especially when it relates to our health – Love and romance the earth.

Happiness: A Unique Inside Job!
