The eve of the New Year is usually a time for celebration, reflection, and anticipation. It is a time to gather with family and friends, make resolutions, and set goals for the coming year. For me, it was no different. I was enjoying the festivities with my extended family when I saw an email notification pop up on my phone.
At first, I was hesitant to check the email, but my curiosity got the better of me. To my surprise, the email was from the Learning and Development Department in my organization. I wondered what the email could be about. Had I forgotten to complete a mandatory online course, or was my name missing from an important list?
My heart skipped a beat as I read through the email. I had been recommended to participate in the upcoming Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) program at Lagos Business School.
