The connection between thankfulness and resilience has to do with how gratitude can help us deal with difficult circumstances. Gratitude builds an aura of peace around us.

Several studies of Personality and Social behavior , has shown that people who expressed their gratitude on a weekly basis reported feeling happier and much more hopeful about their life, at the same time, having less physical signs of illness.

However, being grateful to others can improve connections with them and make people feel more a part of the community. To let someone know that we value their contributions and appreciate them, a simple “thank you” can go a long way.

Gratitude exercises have many advantages for our minds and bodies, they can also help us become more resilient. Even in the face of adversity. Finally, we are to consciously learn to give thanks, for who knows a worse situation than what we find our selves would have happened or played out. Cultivating appreciation is an easy way to improve ourselves physically, and mentally, and socially . We can develop a more optimistic outlook, lessen stress, anxiety, and boost feelings of connection and perseverance by concentrating on the positive aspects of our lives, and showing thanks to others.
