Traveling is more than a hobby for me, meeting people from various parts of the world interests me a lot. I love to learn about new cultures, traditions, and religions. I have been to quite a number of places in Africa, Europe, and the world at large.
I would love to share my experience with a place fondly called (Mother City) Cape Town. I have visited Cape Town not less than 8(eight) times and the reasons are very obvious, the people there are very receptive and at some point, I had to consider it my second home. Starting from the Cape Town International Airport, the ambiance, and the walkways feel so breathtaking. I love road networks, the roads are all tarred, and the streets are well-litted up and very orderly.
My first place to visit was the V&A Waterfront which is located at the heart of the city, it is a luxurious mall, it has a lot of renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton, Gucci, Prada, Coco Chanel, Christian Dior just to mention a few. Hence, if you visit Cape Town there is nothing to worry about, the V&A mall got you covered. Furthermore, there are lots of side attractions at the V&A Waterfront such as a boat cruise for children and adults, 5 (five) star restaurants, and a helicopter local trip to view the beautiful city of Cape Town. Furthermore, there are a lot of nice local restaurants if you like to eat out or you are a foodie.
In addition, I also visited Canal Walk located at Century City, which is also another deluxe mall close to the heart of the city of Cape Town, here we have a lot of companies of top luxurious brands ranging from Nike sport wears, Rolex, and many more. One peculiar thing I have observed in most of my visits to these malls is that the stores are very easy to locate using the direction map located at the various strategic positions of each mall.
Another tourist attractive site I visited is called Table Mountain, this mountain is about 3500(Three Thousand Five Hundred) Feet above ground level. The mountain is therapeutic in nature, it is also directly opposite the beach this makes a lot of South Africans come to this place for the sunset and to relax after a very long day at work or over the weekends. There are also short lets for tourists around this place which makes it easier for you if you are someone that likes to stay very close to the ocean.
Camps Bay is the most thrilling place I visited. It is also one of the tourist sites I visited during one of my numerous trips to the city of Cape Town, Camps Bay is located opposite the beachfront which has a lot of entertainment outlets for tourists such as a local cafeteria for tourists, pubs, and nice restaurants.
In conclusion, I enjoyed all the adventurous trips I made to the city of Cape Town, the great people of South Africa are very friendly and accommodating and I surely look forward to my next trip.
