There are times you just want to give up and accept what life has offered, but your inner spirit is in contention with your will. This is my journey to LBS.
So, it’s my family tradition to fast for 24 hours before the new year and we get to write down our prayer points (equivalent to a wish list) on the 31st of every December preceding the following year to support the holy exercise. We have practiced this for over 2 decades of my existence.
Meet Me
My name is Eniola Damilola Fapohunda, the third female and fourth child of the Fapohunda family. We are a family of seven (7), parents and five children, I am 5.6ft tall, not slim and not fat (you can figure out the size), a dark-skinned lady, and very beautiful, I have a dimple you can use to recognize me. I am as stubborn as my jovial nature. So, it’s safe to say I am the sweetest of them all (smiling).
My Personality and Strength
I am a goal-getter, team builder, and team manager, I like speaking especially when I’m comfortable in my space, I easily adapt to situations, I am a thinker and I love analyzing, I am an organizer, I pay attention to details a lot, I love meeting people and interacting with them, generally speaking; I love human beings and I respect opposite views.
My Weakness
Procrastination has always topped my weakness list but I am getting better by the day. One thing I know for a fact about this weakness is that it always comes true for me at deadlines, it allows me to do stuff accurately, this is no joke! So, I have to ask myself, should I stop procrastinating? I’m sure you are looking out for more of my weaknesses but just manage this one first. Maybe I will talk about the others in my subsequent blogs.
Beliefs
I can say for a fact that I am a graced child. I believe that God exists and he is in the mode of doing things. I believe that everything good comes from God, and he is always at work.
I identify as a Christian and I worship at Harvesters International, under the anointing of Pastor Bolaji Idowu who is the lead pastor. I am not so much of a church goer but I specifically enjoy worshipping in this church either physically or virtually. I serve in the Media department; the visuals unit.
To be honest, I am not too spiritual but I would rather say that I am still finding myself as I draw closer to God. One of the programs that help me build my closeness with God is the Next Level Prayer (NLP) Program organized by Harvesters Intl’ which has been scheduled to hold every Monday to Friday of the week, another thing I do is to read the bible on MVB app through my phone and then pray afterward. Although, I’m not consistent with these things I am trying my best.
To be continued…
