BNXN (Buju) – Bad Since 97 (Mp3 Download)

Daniel Benson popularly known as Bnxn and formally known as Buju is a Nigerian singer and song writer. He is currently signed to his own record label To your Ears entertainment and Empire Music. He recently dropped an EP called “Bad since ’97” which has 7 tracks on it and is currently topping charts. Today, I would be talking about these songs and sure I would tell you my favorites to look out for. Let’s jump right into it…

So, the first track on the EP is called Bad since ’97. It’s the same name as the EP. Here Bnxn is selling himself to us basically. He talks about how his sound is different, doing his music on his lane and not trying to copy the crowd. Also, he says how long he has been working hard before his big break came. To be honest yeah, this is one of the hardest intros on any album/EP in 2022. P.S He was born in 1997.

Track 2 is called Bad man Wicked. On this track my guy is just giving us sweet rhymesss. This is the song you just listen to while you’re having a calm vibe. Also, on most of his songs, he’s selling himself with his distinct sound, so this definitely has some of that too.

Track 3 hmm! This is heavy because it has the biggest bird on it Wizkid. It’s called Many ways. Here both Bnxn and Wiz are talking about how to treat that special person you have in your life. My favorite thing about this one is the sweet blend between both artistes.

Track 4 is called Kenkele. It also has a featured artiste on it, the legendary Wande Coal. I literally grew up listening to Wande. He is someone with a distinct sound too. The song is telling you to be happy and live your best life.

Track 5 is called In my mind. Its talking about a failed relationship. What could have gone wrong, broken trust, being underrated and expectations cut short. It has this emotional damage vibe.

Track 6 is the last song with a featured artist and it’s called Modupe which means Thankful. Like the name implies, the song talks about showing gratitude in whatever condition you find yourself. It features Olamide. Olamide or Baddo as he is popularly called is one of the biggest artists on the continent and he is famous for singing in Yoruba. P.s I think Olamide is the best to come out of Nigeria.

The last song on the Ep is called Losing Emotions and talks about falling out of a relationship and all the things that caused it. The irony is it’s a sweet sad song. For some strange reason I play this one first when I’m listening to the EP.

So finally, I’d like to list my favorites on this project. My first would be Modupe then loose emotions, in my mind, many ways, Bad since ’97 and finally bad man wicked. Basically, I like all of the songs but this how I’d rate them. Tell me how you would rate yours in the comment if you like you EP too.
