Good social media marketing skills will help boost brand credibility and increase customer retention.

This is a game changer for my business. Though a complicated skill but I stayed committed to honing this skill. Paid Search Advertising is the process of optimizing your paid ads to be displayed on the search results. It makes it easier for your target audience to find you. This helped optimize my marketing campaigns. I am still learning this skill but applying the little knowledge I’ve acquired so far has significantly increased my sales.
3: Content Marketing :
We live in a world where consumers are overwhelmed with so much information. It was important to create engaging contents to attract customers online. Content is anything you post on your social media platforms. It can be videos, emails, podcasts, sounds, pictures, audio, blog post etc. Content is very important because your sales/revenue depends on how you communicate your brand. Your brand message should be designed to attract customers. The words, videos, pictures, and emails posted on any of your social media platforms generate leads ( prospective clients)
The quality of your content will determine the quality of clients you will attract. Content marketing made it easy for me to attract the kind of customers I wanted to service.
4: Video Editing
I never knew that I would become a video editor in my life. In creating content, video editing was one of the skills I had to learn. From learning how to record clear videos to editing videos using different editing software and apps, this was the first skill I had to learn when I first launched my online business. 5: Building a Website
I also learnt how to build a website, landing page and sales funnel. This skill can be outsourced but when I started I couldn’t afford to pay for this service so I had to learn it myself.
6: Email Marketing
It was important for me to have a database of all my leads and email marketing was an important skill I needed to communicate with my prospective clients. Email marketing is a type of direct marketing that uses personalized emails to educate your leads list about your product or services. It can also be used to convince your email list to take a specific action like making a purchase, booking a demo, signing up for a trial or registering for an event.
